How long have you been involved with music?
It’s exactly 20 years ago when I started learning music and then at the age of 9 I started learning the guitar.
Have you been self-taught or studied music academically?
I have a degree in Jazz Music and Jazz Guitar from the music university Conservatorio G. Frescobaldi in Ferrara, Italy.
Have you composed any songs/albums?
Yes I’ve recorded 6 CDs, 3 of which were with my personal quartet “Eliana Cargnelutti Band”.
Do you have any near future or further plans for your music? Whether a project on your own or any other music related collaboration? Where are you going with music?
Since debuting with my first solo album, “Love Affairs”, in 2013, my career has been developing in the european rock blues scene. I play in other bands as well, but my quartet is the most important project and we are playing and travelling all around Europe to promote my music.
Tell us about your favorite musicians/bands. Who were your main influences?
I listen to many genres of music, from blues to heavy metal, from pop to jazz. My favorite bands are: Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Led zeppelin, Metallica, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Allman brothers band, and Pink Floyd. My favorite guitar players are Steve vai, Scott Henderson, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Beck.
